Adam to Armageddon is Ray Mayhew’s teaching on the Old and New Testament. The studies on the various books range in length from one to eight sessions depending on the length of the book. Longer studies are posted under the deep end.

A Brief Course Description

On one level Adam to Armageddon is several hours of compact in-depth teaching on each book of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Drawing on the work of leading commentators, it combines a penetrating analysis of the text with an equally powerful application to the life of the believer and the role of the church.

On another level Adam to Armageddon is specifically designed to discover the underlying structure of each book and its interconnectedness with the whole narrative of scripture and the other canonical books. The goal is to provide a grid that will equip the student for further ongoing personal study of the text.

Finally, the goal of our study of the written word must be to lead us to a deeper knowledge of the Living Word. If the Adam to Armageddon series does not lead to a deeper appreciation of the splendor of Christ and result in a fuller commitment to extending his kingdom, then it has failed, despite how much information has been communicated.
